What is STMC ?
STMC represents the Committee of the standards test methods. This world committee as for mission to find and promote standardized test methods for industrial printer cartridges. The test methods are used to evaluate the yield of toner cartdridges of printer. The standard test methods permit to evaluate a cartridge from any source and to have consistent results.
What is ASTM ?
ASTM International (American Society for Testing and Materials), is an independent organization of volunteers who work under very strict rules. These strict rules lead them to define objectives tests methods. STMC and ASTM are not the same. The STMC has accepted several test methods : ASTM International and ISO, ISTA, and ANSI test methods.
STMC certified cartridges come from a company whose employees have passed with success a training giving by a certified trainer in these test methods, it respects them in their production processes and uses of test equipment approved.
